CASA Argentina

The CASA-Buenos Aires program provides undergraduate students with the unique opportunity for full immersion in Argentine culture and the Spanish language, while receiving transfer credit to apply toward their home university degree. Students take a Pro-Seminar course as well as local university courses with Argentinean students, completed at one or more of four top local universities: Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT), Universidad de San Andrés, and Universidad Nacional de las Artes.

Harvard Summer Program in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

This six-week course covers basic principles of ecology, evolution, and island biogeography in the context of the diversity of habitats and organisms on the island of Hispaniola. Our approach in lecture is to balance broad conceptual areas, such as population biology, speciation, or island biogeography, with the diversity and natural history of the main groups of organisms and habitats we see.

Organization of Tropical Studies (OTS)

The Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS) is a non-profit consortium that has grown to include 63 universities and research institutions from the United States, Latin America and Australia. OTS was founded to provide leadership in education, research and the responsible use of natural resources in the tropics. To address this mission, OTS conducts graduate and undergraduate education, facilitates research, participates in tropical forest conservation, maintains three biological stations in Costa Rica and conducts environmental education programs.

This eight-week program gives you the unique opportunity to combine Spanish language coursework, Latin American cultural immersion, and engagement with the fields of medicine and public health through study and service.

The University of Chile is the country’s oldest and largest public institution of higher education, and remains closely linked to the country’s political, economic, artistic and cultural life. The study of law and politics has been part of the University’s curriculum since its founding in 1842.
