Will AI replace us? If so, who gets replaced, and who doesn’t? In an AI-driven economy, formal degrees are losing their luster. Germany and the US need to revisit alternative methods of education to prepare workers with new skills for a new kind of workforce. This event seeks to understand how formal education may be lacking in terms of AI education, as well as the ways that vocational education and the Ausbildungssystem can fill in these gaps to build a more skilled future workforce.
