Harvard College Candela Dance Troupe

Harvard Candela Dance Troupe is a student run dance group that performs Latin dance at a variety of Harvard events.

The Francis and Peggy Cahn Fund (Argentina)

The Francis and Peggy Cahn Fund for Argentina will support Argentinean students studying at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in the Engineering, Applied, Physical and Life Sciences; the Harvard School of Public Health, the John F. Kennedy School of Government, or the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Candidates are evaluated on the basis of merit and financial need.

DRCLAS Study Abroad Program in Santiago, Chile

The DRCLAS Regional Office hosts two distinct term-time Study Abroad Programs, in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina, through the Consortium for Advanced Studies Abroad (CASA) with ten other participating universities. Each program provides four half-course transfer credits towards a Harvard College degree, including a Pro Seminar with current regional issues, and the chance to take courses with both peers and local students. All students live with local hosts.

CASA Argentina

The CASA-Buenos Aires program provides undergraduate students with the unique opportunity for full immersion in Argentine culture and the Spanish language, while receiving transfer credit to apply toward their home university degree. Students take a Pro-Seminar course as well as local university courses with Argentinean students, completed at one or more of four top local universities: Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA), Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT), Universidad de San Andrés, and Universidad Nacional de las Artes.

GSAS Harvard Argentine Tango Society

Provides a series of lessons, meetings, performances, concerts, workshops, and festivals dedicated to the study and diffusion of Argentine culture through the popular and cosmopolitan art form of Argentine tango. Social dancing and making music will be some of the activities and members of the group will participate on a limited level in intercollegiate tango festivals.

Steve Reifenberg Traveling Fellowship

The Steve Reifenberg Fund is intended to encourage graduating seniors to engage in a transformative international experience in the area of social or environmental development.

Harvard Chan Students in Latino Public Health

The purposes of the Harvard Chan Students in Latino Public Health are:

  • To promote a better understanding about global Latino culture and issues within the Harvard Chan community
  • To promote the general interest of members through the participation in various social, cultural, and academic activities
  • To encourage Latino students to engage in other student group activities within the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health as well as with other graduate Latino societies
