James D. Woods Fellowship

The Woods Fellowship in Social Studies was established in memory of James D. ‘Trey’ Woods, A.B. 1985 by friends and classmates with an initial gift from Hope M. Harrison, A.B. 1985. The purpose of the fund is to provide senior thesis research grants to students in Social Studies. Preference will be given to thesis projects in the areas of communications, popular culture, and issues of gender and sexuality, the fields in which Trey Woods made his contributions. Recipients should also demonstrate a zest for life and personal engagement in contemporary issues.

Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Award

Up to three years of study at an accredited graduate arts institution in the US or abroad. 

Laura Houghteling Memorial Scholarship

Student loan indebtedness relief for aspiring primary and/or secondary school teachers.

Edmond J. Safra Undergraduate Fellowship in Ethics

The Edmond J. Safra Undergraduate Fellowship program invites applications from Harvard College sophomores and juniors from any concentration who are pursuing research and writing with an ethics dimension, and who wish to develop their talents in modes of inquiry that are essential to tackling critical moral issues in public life. 

Davison Fellowship for Travel in Music

Financial support for students engaged in short projects relating to music that require travel away from Harvard.

Cordeiro Summer Research Fellowship

Funds to support senior theses or research projects related to health policy.

Center for the Environment Undergraduate Summer Research Assistantships

Paid research assistantships with Harvard faculty members associated with the Center for the Environment. 

Center for American Political Studies (CAPS) Dissertation Fellowships

The Center for American Political Studies offers Dissertation Research or Completion Fellowships on the Study of the American Republic supports dissertation topics with a direct engagement with the history, principles, and politics of the American Republic. Relevant themes include the politics, history, and philosophy of the American Founding and the Early Republic, the political philosophy of republicanism (particularly as applied to the United States), the Civil War and its legacies, the politics of slavery and abolition, and political institutions in the United States.
